Removing the belt cover

Turn off the controller power.

Place a sign indicating the robot is
being adjusted.
Place a sign indicating the robot is being
adjusted, to keep others from operating the
controller or operation panel.

Enter the safety enclosure.

Loosen the hex socket-head bolts
(M4).
Loosen the hex socket-head bolts (M4) (2)
with a spanner or socket wrench.

Remove the belt cover.
After the screws (M4) have been removed
from the top, pull out the cover upward.
Installing the belt cover

Turn off the controller power.

Place a sign indicating the robot is
being adjusted.

Enter the safety enclosure.

Fit the cover.
Fit the cover so that the notch of the cover
passes through the portion between the hex
socket-head bolts.
Tighten the hex socket-head bolts.

Tighten the hex socket-head bolts with a
spanner or socket wrench.

Tighten the screws (M4) from the
top to secure the cover.
