Motor cover

Removing the motor cover
■
1 Turn off the controller power.
2 Place a sign indicating the robot is
being adjusted.
Place a sign indicating the robot is being
adjusted, to keep others from operating the
controller or operation panel.
3 Enter the safety enclosure.
4 Cut the insulock-tie.
Cut the Insulock-tie binding the motor cable
with a pair of nippers, and remove.
5 Pull out the motor cover.
Remove the hex socket-head bolts (M4) (2)
and pull out the motor cover.
Installing the motor cover
■
1 Turn off the controller power.
2 Place a sign indicating the robot is
being adjusted.
Place a sign indicating the robot is being
adjusted, to keep others from operating the
controller or operation panel.
3 Enter the safety enclosure.
4 Secure the motor cover.
Insert the motor cover into the mounting
holes and secure it with the hex socket-head
bolts (M6) (2).
5 Secure the cable with the insulock-
tie.
Use the φ5 hole in the motor cover to secure
the motor cable with the insulock-tie.
