Verifying signals and settings
The fault locator (RWRFLO) relies on information from two other functions:
Phase selection information provided by the distance protection function
Analog information provided by the trip value recorder function
Check that binary start and phase selection signals are connected, and that voltage and current
signals are configured (parameter settings).
The result is displayed on the local HMI or via PCM600. Distance-to-faults for the last 1000 recorded
disturbances can be found on the local HMI under Main menu/Disturbance records /Disturbance
#n (n = 1-100)/General Information.
In PCM600, including loop selection information the result is displayed on the recording list after
upload.
The function can be selected for 2Phase or ATCatenary using the setting SystemType. Sequence of
voltage and current to be applied for verifying signals and settings.
