Chapter 1 SLVU847 – April 2013 Introduction The Texas Instruments TPS65381EVM evaluation module (EVM) helps engineers evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS65381-Q1 power supply IC for safety applications. The device offers configurability through a serial peripheral interface (SPI).
The TPS65381-Q1 device is a multi-rail power supply designed to supply MCUs in safety-critical applications, such as those found in automotive. The devices supports Texas Instruments TMS570LS series 16 or 32-Bit RISC Flash MCU and other MCUs with dual-core lockstep (LS) or loosely coupled (LC) architectures.
