    To avoid electric shock, the grounding conductor must be connected to earth ground. Before making connections to the input or output terminals of the product, make sure that the product is properly grounded. Do not disable the power cord grounding connection.     Discharge the static voltage from all cables before connecting them to the instrument or device under test by momentarily grounding the center conductor of the cable, or by connecting a 50 Ω termination to one end, before attaching the cable to the instrument.     Installation This section provides basic installation instrument for the BSX series. Power on the instrument Connect the power cord to the rear of the instrument and to a properly grounded power source. Push the front panel power button to turn the instrument on.
