Installing an optional 5U SAS expansion enclosure
Before you install the optional 5U SAS expansion enclosure, review the following guidelines:
The expansion enclosure is supported on Storwize V7000 2076-724 and FlashSystem 5100 2077-4H4
systems that have Spectrum Virtualize 8.2.0 or later with the latest fix packs. If the system is not running
that level of software, do not connect it to a enclosure.

Before you install, service, or move a 5U expansion enclosure, always read and follow the safety notices
and guidelines.
Safety notices
Use the reference numbers in parentheses at the end of each notice (for example, D005) to find the
matching translated notice in IBM Systems Safety Notices.
