2. Position one ofthe bracket covers under the upper shaft and align t he mounting bracket and the bracket cover screw h oles. Insert two screws into the screw holes. 3. Secure the mounting bracket by tightening the screws with the hex wrench.

Upper Shaft Coupler LOOSEN Lower Attachment TIGHTEN Knob 2= Press and hold the locking/release button. Locking/Release Button Lower Attachment 3= While securely holding the upper shaft, pull the attachment straight out of the coupler. INSTALLING ATTACHMENT 1= Remove the shaft cap from the at- tachment (if present) and discard.

Remove both washers and the blade from the blade shaft. Leave the dust cup on the gearbox. Install new blade and retaining washer onto the threaded shaft ex- tending from the gearbox (blade must be between the dust cup and the retaining washer).
