This section of the manual gives instructions for tractors with Automatic Drive type transaxle with the input pulley mounted on the side of the transaxle.

- Page 8 ASSEMBLE PIVOT BRACKET TRACTOR FRAME (See Fig. 7) Install pivot rod bracket to inside of R.H. frame rail using two hex bolts 3/8-16 x 7/8 and two 3/8-16 Iocknuts. a. Disengage parking brake to tighten drive belt. Position pivot rod bracket to inside of R.H. frame rail and install one hex bolt through upper mounting hole.

WIRING ASSEMBLY (See Figs. 13 thru 18) PLASTIC DASH WITHOUT HOLE AND PLUG system, disconnect battery. Reconnect CAUTION: Before working on electrical battery when finished. Locate the black plastic hole plug in upper right or left corner of dash. Remove plug from dash and discard. DRILL 1/2 IN. - Page 12 WIRE TIE ACTUATOR WIRING Connect lift harness to electric actuator. HARNESS LIFT a. Connect male connector of harness to female PIVOT ROD HARNESS connector of electric actuator. Viewing lift switch from under hood connect lift harness to lift switch. a. Connect yellow wire of lift harness to lower right terminal of lift switch.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE REASSEMBLE HEIGHT INDICATOR (If equipped) (See Fig. 19) Make sure all bolts and nuts are tight and retainer springs are secure.
