Duplexer Setup Guide

The optional duplexer enables printing on both sides of a sheet of paper.

Unpack the duplexer from its shipping container.

WARNING: To prevent the danger of electric shock, before installing any options be sure to

turn the power switch of the printer to the off [O] position and disconnect the power cord

from the wall outlet.

Ensure that the printer power switch is set to the OFF [ O ] position.

Page 1 Unpack the duplexer from its shipping container. WARNING: To prevent the danger of electric shock, before installing any options be sure to turn the power switch of the printer to the off [O] position and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
Page 2 Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet. NOTE: If an optional face-up tray is installed on your printer, complete the following two steps to remove it, otherwise proceed directly to Step 6 below. Lift to remove the face-up tray.
