Maintenance and servicing
Before the check:
Mark the level surface with
chalk to check the sweeping
roller adjustment.
Sweepmaster P900 R: Check
the air pressure in the tyres
(6 bar).
- Lower the sweeping roller and allow it
to rotate briefly while stationary.
- Raise the sweeping roller and move
the Sweepmaster slightly forwards. If
the sweeping roller is adjusted cor-
rectly, a parallel sweeping line must
be visible on the ground (sweeping
level).
The width of the sweeping level
should be as follows:
- Sweepmaster P900 R = 50 mm
- Sweepmaster B900 R = 50 mm
The width of the sweeping level is ad-
justed at the star knob (Fig. 15/2) as
follows:

Brush adjustment
- Open the seat hood
- Undo the lever (Fig. 15/1)
- Turn the star knob (Fig. 15/2)
left = wider sweeping level
right = narrower sweeping level
- Engage the lever (Fig. 15/1)
With each complete rotation of
the adjusting wheel, the
sweeping level increases or
decreases by approx. 10 mm.
Sweepmaster B900 R:
If the sweeping level is exceed-
ed, the protective device of the
engine can be activated.
