5.1 Getting Started
6. In the Setup window, click the "Add/Remove" menu
to add the second Mackie Control device.
7. Select "Mackie Control" from the pull-down menu.
8. Set the MIDI Input and Output for Mackie Control 2 to "PreSonus FP16 Port 1. "
9. Click "Apply. "
Note: The Port order is critical to proper functionality. The first Mackie Control device
must be set to Port 2 and the second Mackie Control device must be set to Port 1.
10. Select MIDI Port Setup and make sure that "In All MIDI" box is unchecked
for both FaderPort 16 ports or the FaderPort 8 port and then click "OK. "
Whether you're using the FaderPort 16 or the FaderPort 8, you will need to switch the
Mackie Control device(s) to Compatibility mode. To do this, select both the Mackie
Control and the Mackie Control 2 (FaderPort 16 only) from the Devices menu.
From the pop-up windows, select Compatibility from the menu.
Your FaderPort is now ready to use. Enjoy!
