2. Full-width ramp
You should determine if it is best to have the
platform up or down when loading, depending on
conditions. If it is not possible to use 1 full-width
ramp, use enough individual ramps to simulate a
full-width, continuous ramp.
Avoid sudden acceleration when driving up a ramp
and sudden deceleration when backing down a
ramp. Both maneuvers can cause the machine to
tip backward.

Transporting the Machine
Use a heavy-duty trailer or truck to transport the
machine. Ensure that the trailer or truck has all
the necessary brakes, lighting, and marking as
required by law. Please carefully read all the safety
instructions.
1. Raise the tines of the machine before driving
onto the trailer or truck.
2. If using a trailer, connect it to the towing vehicle
and connect the safety chains.
3. If applicable, connect the trailer brakes.
4. Load the machine onto the trailer or truck.
5. Shut off the engine, remove the key, engage the
parking brake, and close the fuel valve.
6. Engage the parking brake and block the tires.
7. Use the tie-down points on the machine to
securely bind the machine to the trailer or truck
with straps, chains, cable, or ropes
Note:
Refer to your local ordinances for specific
trailer and tie-down regulations.
