Once the iPod or iPhone is connected to the unit it will begin
charging when AC/DC adaptor is used.
The iPod or iPhone unit will not be charged while the main
unit use the batteries as power supply.

will fit snuggly into the correct adaptor. If your iPod is not mentioned
below, an iPod adaptor may have been included with your iPod
unit.
