Troubleshooting
Lighting and Flashing Error LED
Recover from the error as follows when the Error LED is on or flashing.
(For LED lighting/flashing patterns, see
• Make sure that the roll paper cover is closed.
Close the cover if it is open.
• When the Replace Ink LED is on, replace the ink cartridge with a new one.
• When the Check Paper LED is on, check whether the roll paper is out. If it is out, replace it
with a new one.
• When the Paper Jam LED is on, check for a paper jam. If paper is jammed, remove the
jammed paper referring to
correctly.
• Turn off the printer and then turn it back on. If the Error LED is still flashing, call your supervi-
sor or a service person.
