Remove the touchpad
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 30
"Remove the heat sink" on page 31
"Remove the battery pack" on page 32
Step 1.
Disconnect cables from the system board and then peel off the pieces of tape.

Step 2.
Peel back the tape and then remove four screws.

Step 3.
Turn over the computer and then remove the touchpad.
