An error message indicating insufficient memory is

B If there is insufficient memory space in your CLIÉ handheld, "Memory
Stick", or CF memory card, applications may not start properly. Delete any
unnecessary data (after backing up any of that data you might need in the
future) and try starting the application again.
B Delete unused data of Date Book and To Do List.
To delete data of Date Book, select Purge in the Record menu, select
the time period for Delete events older than, and tap OK.
To delete data of To Do List, check the box to the left of the data you want
to delete. Then select Purge in the Record menu. Tap OK and the
checked items will be deleted.
B Delete e-mail messages in CLIE Mail, and then empty the Trash.
B Perform Delete Cache from Options menu in NetFront v3.0 for
CLIE.
B If add-on applications are installed on your CLIÉ handheld, delete those
applications.
