These User Instructions are intended to be used only by those operating the equipment and qualified personnel. They contain instructions, pictures and diagrams, which, in their entirety or in part, must not be copied, circulated, or be used for competition purposes without authorisation or disclosed to others.
An analysis or repair of the coolant system is expressly forbidden. The cooling circuit is filled with R 290 (propane). ATTENTION: Propane is highly flammable! In the event of problems, please contact the Franke hotline. The freezer will be picked up and taken to the Franke factory for repair.
GENERAL NOTES The unit must be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. If there is a fault or malfunction, disconnect the unit from the power supply. Any necessary repairs must be carried out by qualified technicians. Only use original spare parts.
The installation must be carried out by trained technicians in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not clean the cooling unit with a direct or high-pressure water jet. Install in a well-ventilated room, well away from sources of heat. Ensure that the air can circulate properly in the vicinity of the refrigerating aggregate.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS - Only persons older than 15 years old may use the equipment after instruction. - Do not place warm foods or steaming liquids in the cooling unit. - Cover or wrap up all foods. - Maintain the spacing between grilles to ensure that the air can circulate properly.
The target value and the setup parameters can both be adjusted. These adjustments should only be made if the equipment is oper- ating in unfavourable conditions. These setup parameters may only be changed with the express consent of FRANKE FOODSERVICE SYSTEMS GMBH.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING! Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance procedures, disconnect the equipment from the mains. The equipment must be completely cool before starting any of these procedures. CAUTION! There should be no food in the areas to be cleaned. IMPORTANT! The appliance must be defrosted daily.
Important: clean the cooling fins on the condenser (C-2) of the cooling unit with a vacuum cleaner every 6 months. They can be accessed by removing the ventilation grille (C-3). Do not use any sharp instruments to clean it. It is usually sufficient to clean the fins with a vacuum cleaner or with a fin comb (C-4). However, if you can see that the condenser is very dirty, it should be cleaned by specialists (refrigeration engineers).
In the event of a fault or a malfunction, disconnect the unit from the mains. Any necessary repairs must be carried out by qualified technicians. Repairs must be carried out by an authorised service technician. Should the unit malfunction, please contact your nearest Franke service dealer.
In the case that the customer wants Franke to take on the product disposal, Franke GmbH will give the customer a quotation for taking the goods back and disposing of them, at the time of the disposal. Costs for transport and disposal will be invoiced to the customer.
