Steps
1.
NOTE: Move in clock-wise direction to disconnect the cables from the system board.
Peel the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
2. Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board and place it on a flat and clean surface.
3. Open the latch and disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
4. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
5. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
6. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the system board.
7. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
8. Open the latch and disconnect the power-button cable from the USB board.
9. Remove the four (M2x4) screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE: I/O board, USB board, and heat sink are attached to the system board.
NOTE: After removing the screws, lift the system board from the top left and right sides of the heat sink. Ensure the
connectors are released from the ports and pins on the left and right sides of your computer.
NOTE: Place the system board on a clean and flat surface.
