    Introduction Overview This operating manual describes how to use the Lighthouse SOLAIR 2010+ and 3010+. The model number signifies the minimum particle size measured by the instrument. The number 2010 indicates a 0.2μm and 3010 indicates a 0.3 m minimum channel size at 0.1 CFM.

    SOLAIR. The power switch is located on the front of the unit. Lighthouse recommends using protected power to prevent exposing the instrument to voltage spikes. Using an uninterruptible power supply when the SOLAIR is kept in a stationary location will help prevent damage to the instrument or loss of data in the event of a power outage.

    Operation Locations and AUTO Mode When the instrument is in Automatic Mode and the START button is pressed, the instrument will start counting particles automatically according to the SAMPLE time, HOLD time and number of cycles that are configured. When the instrument is HOLDING, press the Location - and + buttons to increment or decrement the location that will be saved with the data when the sample time completes.
