This precision instrument requires minimal set up time and very little routine maintenance.
This document will help get the
I - Unpack and Inspect
Unpack instrument and inspect for damage. Compare package
contents to the pack slip. Report issues to Lighthouse.
Remove clear protective sheet from the instrument face
and USB port.
II - Attach Power Supply
Place instrument on level surface.
Locate instrument's power supply close to instrument;
connect DC power cord to rear Power Input socket.
Connect the AC cord to Power Supply and AC Input end
to an AC source. Power Supply will charge the battery.
Allow eight-hour battery charge before putting instrument
into service.
III - Apply Power

After charging battery, remove Inlet Cap, attach sample tube to Inlet Barb on top of
ApexPortable
Press Power Button. After a few seconds, Splash screen will appear followed by Main screen.
Store Inlet Cap in safe place for use when instrument needs to be moved or sent for
annual calibration.
