The R&S CompactTSVP is suitable for all types of production tests. The modules plugged into the R&S CompactTSVP can be used to create test and control signals for the UUT, and to measure and evaluate the response from the UUT. -

Setting up the product The process of mounting the R&S TSVP in a rack depends on the model. ● The R&S ExpressTSVP requires no additional accessory. ● The R&S CompactTSVP and R&S PowerTSVP require an additional rack adapter kit. 4.4.2.1 Mounting the product in a rack (R&S ExpressTSVP) - Page 25 ® Preparing for use R&S TSVP Setting up the product a) Unscrew the 4 feet from the bottom of the instrument casing [1]. You can create larger ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) systems by combining R&S CompactTSVP or R&S ExpressTSVP and R&S PowerTSVP. The embedded computer or the remote control interface is installed in the R&S ExpressTSVP or the R&S CompactTSVP. The external host computer is typ- ically a desktop computer, an industrial PC (IPC) or any other host controller with a free PCI Express slot to accomodate a PCIe-to-PCIe bridge card. - Page 31 To install a PCI-to-PCI bridge connection using R&S TS-PSC08 1. Considerations for test setup Connecting the R&S PowerTSVP to a control PC If the R&S PowerTSVP is not connected to a R&S CompactTSVP, the modules must be controlled by an external PC.
