The product will perform as designed only if it is used, maintained and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The user should understand how to set the correct parameters and interpret the obtained results.
- Page 4 Special Conditions for Safe Use • The MUNI multi-gas detector must be calibrated if it does not pass a bump test, when a new sensor has been installed, or at least once every 180 days, depending on use and sensor exposure to poisons and contaminants.

Use an external filter in environments with excessive dust or liquid aerosols. The filter attaches to the front housing covering all four sensor gas inlet ports. NOTE: The external filter will slow the response of the MUNI sensors. Replace the filter when it is visibly dirty or when response times become noticeably long. - Page 6 NOTE: Currently separate circuit board/battery assemblies are under government shipping restriction and an entire MUNI without sensors must be obtained for replacement. Remove all sensors, pry off the sensor circuit board, attach it to the new main circuit board/battery assembly, and place the entire assembly back into the back housing.
