Splitting Safety The DR 6 -TON ELECTRIC WOOD SPLITTER has a Ram with 6 tons of force. • ALWAYS BE SURE TO STAND INSIDE THE OPERATOR ZONE TO RUN THE WOOD SPLITTER (FIGURE 5). THIS IS THE AREA DIRECTLY BEHIND YOUR DR 6 -TON ELECTRIC WOOD SPLITTER. NEVER OPERATE THE WOOD SPLITTER FROM ANYPLACE ELSE. -

2. When safe to do so, push down on the Operating Handle. The Ram will now compress the log against the wedge, splitting the log. NOTE: The DR 6 -TON ELECTRIC WOOD SPLITTER is designed to run at two different speeds. When the Operating Handle is fully depressed the Ram will run at a slower speed but have more power. -
