NOTE: Always respect descaling agent and water volumes in the tank to
ensure completion of the cycles.
The machine can still prepare several milk beverages before it is blocked
preventively. The blockage prevents any damage to the machine and ensures
its proper functioning over its lifetime.
If the machine is blocked, descale it. Please make sure the entire descaling pro-
cedure is completed. If it is not completed, the machine will remain blocked.

Troubleshooting

Button does not light up.
No coffee, no water, no milk.
Coffee comes out very slowly.
Coffee is not hot enough.
Leakage or unusual coffee flow.
Machine turns to "OFF mode".
There are coffee grounds in the
cup.
The machine doesn't start and
lights are steady on. If blinking,
see the following points.

• The machine has turned OFF automatically; push the button or
"UNLOCK" the machine.
• Check the mains, plug, voltage, and fuse.
• Check that the water tank is filled.
• Check that a fresh capsule is inserted in the correct position and
that the handle is properly locked, and then push the button
to start.
• Descale if necessary.
• Open the machine to eject the used capsule.. Then perform
cleaning as described in the cleaning section.
• Check if the milk carafe is inserted and filled.
• Flow speed depends on the coffee variety.
• Preheat cup with hot drinking water from the tap.
• Descale if necessary.
• Check that the water tank is well positioned. Empty the drip
tray.
• To save energy the machine will turn off after 2 minutes of non-
use.
• See paragraph on "Energy Saving".
• Perform the cleaning procedure twice.
• See the "Cleaning cycle" section.
• Check that handle is properly locked.
• If you want to brew a Coffee or Espresso, check that a fresh cap-
sule is inserted in correct position, that the handle is properly
locked and push the button to start.
• If you are cleaning, descaling or emptying the system, check
that no capsule has been left inside, lock the machine and push
the button to start one of these operations.
