Replace the Heart Rate Hand Sensors

Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 30 Minutes
1. Remove and save the two Phillips screws that secure the right or left heart rate hand sensors to the Ergo Bar assem-
bly (on E1 and E3) or the User Arms (on E3 only).
2. Note the location of the wires connected to the heart rate hand sensors. This will simplify reassembly.
3. Disconnect the heart rate wires from the hand sensors
4. Install the new heart rate hand sensors in reverse order using the screw removed and saved in the fi rst step.

Replace the Resistance Button (Model E3 only)

Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 15 Minutes
1. Remove the 2 screws on the backside of the resis-
tance button.
2. Pull the front half away from the back piece of the
button assembly.
3. Disconnect the wires from the button assembly.
4. Install new button assembly in reverse order.
