Automatic two-source audio switcher with built-in stereo
Share one set of speakers between an amplified audio system and a local source.
• Allows automated switching from distributed audio system to a local source (TV, Computer etc).
The default, or A input is for the remote (main) music system that will play whenever the Local
source is off or muted
• Large, built-in 50 watt per channel stereo amplifier (@ 8 ohms)
Configuration friendly: featuring multiple choices of automatic switching and current sensing.
• Line level A/V pass-through (basic module)
• Main speaker pass-through occurs when ASAP2 SAT is off
• Trigger-mode via configurable dip-switch controls: Audio, Video, Current sensing and External
voltage (5 to 24 volts AC or DC)
• Auto-triggers can be bypassed for manual (front panel power switch) activation or controlling
with a switched outlet
• 12 VDC control output
• Two pair of speaker output terminals
SmartAmp Technology: Provides a module bay for future upgradability, greatly increasing
the flexibility of the ASAP2 SAT and making it compatible with new protocols. Slide-in
modules can be changed in seconds on the job site. Basic Module included.
• SmartModule bay allows for installation of one module into rear of unit for application-specific
usage of the ASAP2 SAT, as well as future upgrades
• Basic module (included) allows line level or speaker level local input with audio, video, external
voltage (5 to 24 volts AC or DC) or AC current sensing of local input
• LR1 module when available receives output from a Sonance LS1 Balanced Line Sender. This
combination allows long line level audio runs (up to 500 feet) and cancels out noise from the local
source to the ASAP2 SAT
• AL1 module (when available)
allows two local sources (default
and sensed) to be switched with
the main audio. This module has
its own RCA output, 12VDC
output (sensed), trigger sensitivity
and B > A switch back time
adjustment
• Additional Modules will be
introduced. Watch for them
