Replacement Bowl Kit
Instruction Part Number 12924 Rev A
The following customer supplied
items should be on-hand before
beginning installation:
• straight slot screwdriver,
• shop towels,
• motor oil or diesel fuel.
1. Filter assembly must be drained
before beginning installation of
new bowl.
2. Lubricate all new gaskets and
O-rings with motor oil or diesel
fuel.
3. Thread new drain valve into
bowl by hand—do not use tools.
Tighten snugly.
4. Thread probe port plug into
bowl and tighten snugly using a
straight slot screwdriver—do not
overtighten.
5. Place new bowl O-ring in grove
of bowl and thread new bowl
assembly onto filter assembly.
Tighten snugly by hand—do not
use tools.
