Pictures/animations
You can set pictures/animations sep-
arately for the following functions:
• Wallpaper: Background image
used on standby display.
• Logo: Graphic to be displayed in-
stead of the provider logo.
• Startup animation: Animation
displayed when phone is
switched on.
• Shutdown anim.: Animation dis-
played when phone is
switched off.
Screensaver
Picture displayed if a time period you
set has elapsed. An incoming call
and pressing any key will end the
function unless the safety function is
activated.

When the screensaver is manually set,
• the talk/standby time is reduced
dramatically
• the screensaver can cause irreversible
display burn-in effects.
Greeting message
Set message to be displayed instead
of animation when phone is
switched on.
Backlight time
Set backlight duration for display.

Set brightness level for the display.
Power save
Set time when the display goes into
power save mode.
Vibration (silent alert)

To avoid the disturbance caused by a
ringing phone, you can activate the
silent alert function as an alterna-
tive. The silent alert can also be acti-
vated in addition to the ringtone.
