Copying a phone number from a text message to the directory
Your telephone can "identify" phone numbers in a received text message. It indicates
this by highlighting the sequence of digits (max. 32). If the text message contains mul-
tiple strings of digits, the first string of digits is highlighted. Scrolling through the text
message with s will automatically highlight the next string of digits etc.
Requirement: You have opened a text message in the incoming message list to read
(page 47).

The phone number must be stored in the directory together with its area
code (access code) so that it can also be used for sending text messages.
The string of digits is
highlighted in black.
Press the display key to create a new entry.
Select and confirm.
