OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Before using this outdoor fire pit, please thoroughly read and follow all warnings and
instructions written in this manual. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may cause death, serious
injury, or property damage.
Lighting the wood
Do NOT use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lighter fluid or alcohol to light the fire.
1.
Make sure that there is no ash in the bottom of the bowl.
2.
Place dry kindling/natural fire starter in the center of the grate.
3.
Place dry and seasoned hardwood. The wood should be a maximum of 18 inches in length.
4.
Use a long match to light the kindling/fire starter.
5.
Use heat-resistant gloves and poker to place the spark guard.
Tending the fire
Do NOT use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lighter fluid or alcohol to light a fire.
Do NOT place hot tools onto combustible surfaces such as grass or wooden furniture.
Use heat-resistant gloves and poker to remove the spark guard.

Use the poker to shift logs to allow additional airflow.
2.
Wait until embers have developed before adding any additional wood.
3.
If additional wood is added, carefully place wood on top of embers.
4.
Use heat-resistant gloves and poker to replace spark guard.
5.
Extinguishing the fire
Allow the fire to burn out. Do NOT pour water to extinguish the fire because it is dangerous and may
cause damage.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

This outdoor fire pit must be thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and properly stored to ensure product
safety and prolonged product life.
Note: After repeated use, a slight discoloration of the finish may occur.
CAUTION:
All cleaning and maintenance must be executed when the outdoor fire pit is completely cool and all fuel
is removed.
Do not clean any part of this appliance with abrasive cleaners.
Do not clean any part of this appliance in a self-cleaning oven as it may damage the finish.
A. Inspection
Check the handle to make sure it is fixed and secured.

Check all parts to see if there are any signs of damage or rust.
2.
If damage to any component is detected, do not use this fire pit until repairs are completed.

B. Cleaning

Use a soft cloth to wipe exterior surfaces with mild dishwashing detergent or baking soda.
2.
For stubborn stains, use a citrus-based degreaser and a nylon scrubbing brush.
3.
Rinse clean with water.
C. Storage
When the fire is out and the fire pit is cool, remove and properly dispose of the ashes.

Store the outdoor fire pit in a cool and dry location away from children and pets.

For greater longevity, keep the outdoor fire pit covered when not in use.
