Front bezel

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Turn off the computer and remove all connected devices and cables.
2. Remove the computer stand cover. See "Computer stand cover" on page 60.
3. Remove the computer stand. See "Computer stand" on page 60.
4. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 61.
5. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 65.
6. Remove the system board frame. See "System board frame" on page 71.
7. Remove the speakers. See "Speakers" on page 69.
8. Remove the CPU fan. See "CPU fan" on page 77.
9. Remove the optical drive board. See "Optical drive board" on page 69.
10. Remove the power switch board. See "Power switch board" on page 70.
11. Remove the system board. See "System board" on page 79.
12. Remove the middle frame. See "Middle frame" on page 80.
13. Remove front bezel from the LCD panel.
14. Install the new front bezel.
15. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of the removal steps mentioned above.
16. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.
