3. Install the new stand and then install the four screws.
4. Place the computer in an upright position.
5. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Replacement procedure
1. Disconnect the data cable and power cable from the rear of the optical drive.
2. Press the release button and push the optical drive straight out of the front of the chassis.
3. Remove two screws to detach the optical drive bracket from the optical drive.
