Computer cover

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Turn off the computer and remove all connected devices and cables.
2. Unlock any locking device that secures the computer cover.
3. Hold the sides of the computer and gently lay it down so that the computer cover is facing up.
4. Remove the computer stand cover. See "Computer stand cover" on page 60.
5. Remove the computer stand. See "Computer stand" on page 60.
6. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 61.
7. Remove the screw cover and then rotate the screw 90 degrees clockwise.
8. Remove the computer cover. Disconnect the camera cable from the system board.
9. Install the new computer cover.
10. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of the removal steps mentioned above.
11. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.
