Replacement procedure
1. Disconnect the computer from ac power and all connected cables.
2. Slightly press the computer stand cover to remove it.
3. Install the new computer stand cover.
4. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Replacement procedure
1. Disconnect the computer from ac power and all connected cables.
2. Remove four screws and then remove the stand.
3. Install the new stand and then install the four screws.
4. Place the computer in an upright position.
5. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.
