• The printing side of the card (front surface) is on the left.
When using pre-printed cards that have a specified orientation, load
the cards so that after printing, the printed upper surface is at the rear
of the cassette.

Close the card case cover and the top cover.

• The factory default is set so the card case feeding gate corresponds
to feeding of cards with a standard thickness 0.03" (0.76 mm). See
"Adjusting the Feed Gate Depending on Card Thickness" of the
"Operation Guide" to adjust the size of the gap.

3. Return the card retainer.

When returning the card retainer, be sure not to

Confirm that the card touches the upper roller
of the feeder.
