Focus
Focus can be adjusted manually.
"Adjusting Focus Manually (FOCUS)" (A p. 23)
Memo :
This is selectable only during Manual recording.

Brightness Adjust
Adjusts the overall brightness of the screen.
"Adjusting Brightness" (A p. 26)
Caution :
Brightness Adjust cannot be selected in the following cases.

– During Auto recording
– When "Shutter Speed", "Aperture" and "Gain Up" are set to "Manual"
– When "Backlight Comp" is set to "On"
– When "Lolux" is set to "On"
Shutter Speed
Shutter speed can be adjusted.
"Setting Shutter Speed" (A p. 27)
Caution :
– During Auto recording
– When "Lolux" is set to "On"
Aperture
Adjusts the aperture value.
"Setting Aperture" (A p. 28)
Caution :
Aperture cannot be selected in the following cases.

– During Auto recording
– When "Lolux" is set to "On"
Gain Up
Makes the subject appear bright automatically when recording in dark places.
"Increasing the Light Sensitivity Level" (A p. 29)
Caution :
This function is not available for selection when "Lolux" is set to "On".

"Manual" is not available for selection in the Auto Recording mode.

This function is fixed at "AGC" in the Auto Recording mode when "System" is set to "High-Speed".

"Auto Slow-Shutter" is not available for selection in the Manual Recording mode when "System" is set to "High-Speed".

Backlight Comp
Corrects the image when the subject appears dark due to backlight.
"You can correct the image when the subject appears too dark due to backlight." (A p. 30)
Caution :
Backlight Comp cannot be selected in the following cases.

– During Auto recording
– When "System" is set to "High-Speed"
– When "Shutter Speed", "Aperture" and "Gain Up" are set to "Manual"
