For more information about IP PBX configuration, see the VDP800/ VDP801 Administrator and Provisioning Manual, available at businessphones.vtech.com. Handset installation involves both the the handset and the handset charger. The charger is powered using the supplied power adapter. The charger can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall. - Page 10 Installing the charger Install the charger as shown below. Handset Registration Registering the handset to the base station The handset is pre-registered to the base station. If the handset becomes deregistered, perform the registration procedure as follows. To register the handset: 1. Make sure the handset has a charged battery before proceeding. Make sure the base station is connected to power. - Page 15 Deregistering the handset Before using the handset with a different base station, you must deregister the handset from the base station to which it is currently registered.
