Universal Battery Kit Installation (Cont.)
Position the Battery Box (Item #2) over the Rubber Shock Absorber (Item #5) and over the Swivel Adapter of the
Tongue Tube, See Figure A. Secure the Battery Box by using (2) 5/16"-18 x 3/4" HHCS (Item #7) and (2) 5/16"-18 Ny-
Flange Lock Nuts (item #8).
Next, place the Battery (Item #2) in the Battery Box and secure the Battery by using (1) Battery Clamp (Item #3), (2)
1/4"-20 x 4-1/2" Carriage Bolts (Item #5) and (2) 1/4"-20 Wing Nuts (Item #6). Be Sure the Battery Clamp is positioned
between the battery's positive (+) and negative (-) terminal to prevent any possibility for the battery to arc. Refer to the
Figures Below.
