Problem
You cannot

The battery
pack is
installed in the
AC adaptor/
charger, but it
is not being
recharged.
The camera is
set in the
docking station
but the
installed
Charging battery is not
being
recharged.
Cause
The protect
mode is set.
The battery
pack is not
correctly
oriented in the
AC adaptor/
charger.
The AC
adaptor/
charger is not
connected to
the docking
station.
The camera is
not correctly
connected to
the docking
station.
Action
Cancel the
protect mode.
Position the
battery pack
correctly in the
AC adaptor/
charge as
indicated.
Check that the
power cord of
the AC
adaptor/
charger is
connected
correctly.
When inserting
the camera in
the docking
station, push
down on it to
make sure that
the connection
between the
camera and the
docking station
is secure.
