ACTIVATING THE ALARMS
To turn on Alarm 1, press the ALARM 1 button
ALARM 1 will appear on the display. Likewise, pressing ALARM 2 button
on Alarm 2.
The buttons next to the 1 and 2 alarm buttons select the alarm mode: wake-to-
radio or wake-to-beeper
seconds, then slowly "ramps up" to the preset volume. You may adjust alarm
volume level by rotating the ALARM LEVEL control knob

The alarm beeper is actually a series of electronic beeps. The beeps for each
alarm are different: Alarm 2 has a slightly higher frequency than Alarm 1.
The radio alarm will always be the Preset 1 station of your last band
(either AM or FM)selection.
AFTER THE ALARM HAS GONE OFF
If you' d like a bit more sleep, press the SNOOZE bar
in Snooze status. The alarm stops and will start again in five minutes, and may
be used in intervals of 5 minutes to a maximum of one hour. The display will
show the "sleeping person" icon with ZZZs. To turn the radio/alarm off, press the
POWER ON/OFF button.
SETTING SLEEP TIMER (AUTO SHUT OFF)
Press SLEEP button
and "sleeping person" icon on the display will flash. After seven seconds, the
display will stop flashing, the Sleep icon will remain on the display and the timer
will be automatically set for one hour. At the end of this time, the radio will shut
off.
If you would like the radio to play for a longer or shorter time, press the SLEEP

button
then use the TUNE/TIME buttons to set any length of time, from one
minute to 6 hours. To see the remaining sleep time, press the SLEEP button
again. To release Sleep status function, press POWER ON/OFF button.
