Leakage Test

Note:
Whenever any gas-carrying part is removed or installed, all gas-carrying
parts must be checked for leaks.
1. Cooktop Surface Removal, Section 010-4.1.
2. Disconnect the ignition electrode from the transformer.
3. Connect the cooktop to the power supply.
4. Connect the cooktop to the gas supply.
5. Open the burner tap.
6. Check all gas-carrying parts and connections with leak detection spray.
7. Mark checked connections with locking compound.
Note:
In addition to the leakage test, the following must also always be carried out:
Burning Properties Test, Section 010-4.7, and Automatic Re-Ignition
Test, Section 010-4.9.

Solenoid Continuity Check

1. Solenoid Removal, Section 020-4.3.
2. Measure the resistance between the connection tag and the solenoid valve
coil housing.
3. The measured resistance should be approximately 53Ω.
