High Voltage Capacitor (A4) - Removal

1. Remove the appliance – Refer to Section 5.1.
2. Remove the top cover – Refer to Section 5.2.
3. Discharge the high voltage capacitor – Refer to Section 5.3.
4. Remove the capacitor retaining screw.
5. Remove the capacitor from the clasp assembly.
6. Unplug the connectors.
7. Remove the cover from the capacitor / install on new capacitor.
Important!
After the appliance is re-assembled, perform the Microwave Leakage
Test (Refer to Section 5.12).

Microwave Output Test

1. Fill a heat proof glass container (i.e. tea mug) with 125ml (4.25 oz) of
water that is about 50°F and 68°F.
2. Place glass container into the center of oven cavity.
3. Heat water at maximum output (1000w) for 60 seconds.
4. Stir water.
5. Use a thermometer to measure the water temperature; it should have
increased in temperature about 110-120°F, resulting in a final water
temperature in the area of 160-188°F.
Note:
For appliances programmed to 208V: The maximum power output is
850w, temperatures listed above may be slightly lower.
