Door Safety Switches - Removal

1. Remove the appliance – Refer to Section 5.1.
2. Remove the top cover – Refer to Section 5.2.
3. Discharge the high voltage capacitor – Refer to Section 5.3.
4. Remove fascia panel and retainer – Refer to Section 5.4.
5. Remove the top cover.
6. Use a screwdriver to reach through the openings in the side cover of
the appliance; push in the door lock retaining notches (Item A).
7. Pull the side cover outward, a few inches.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
9. Push door lock towards the back of the appliance, lift to remove.
