    1.5mm 2.5mm 2.5mm The mains wiring to the QE20 cabinet is terminated in the single dual-outlet GPO (1- 2 PSE) or two dual-outlet GPOs (3-4 PSE). The GPO terminal capacity is a maximum of 3 x 2.5mm conductors, so fitting the incoming mains wire and a wire across to the other GPO is possible.

    Adjacent Cabinet Wiring Where a QE20 system consists of multiple adjacent cabinets it will be necessary to reconnect the factory fitted wiring between the cabinets. Long connecting cables will be included in any additional cabinets, to allow connection to the previous cabinet.

    • Networking with other panels • Phased evacuation, messages, etc. A printout of the site configuration is supplied with each QE20 and is the key document defining what function has been assigned to each input and output of the QE20 and thus what field wiring should be connected and where.

    What’s Available Most site settings are entered into QE20Config to form the site configuration. This is downloaded to the QE20 and stored in non-volatile memory in the Controller, so it is available each time the QE20 is turned on. The following items can be configured on-site separately to the site configuration, so may be changed without requiring a computer with QE20Config installed and access to change the configuration.

    • Install the QE20 cabinets and complete the mains power wiring to the cabinets. If permanent mains wiring is not available, temporary wiring may be used as long as the QE20 has no VADs or 100V loads connected (so the power consumption is minimal).
