6.11.5 Oil pressure switch
Check the calibration of the maximum and minimum oil pressure
switches, using the adjustment screw as shown in Fig. 42.
The check should be carried out by individually varying the cali-
bration of each pressure switch.
Maximum oil pressure switch
Turning the screw anti-clockwise lowers the setting and the burn-
er should go into lockout.
Once this control has been carried out, it is necessary to reset the
factory setting of the maximum oil pressure switch to about 4/5
bar.
Minimum oil pressure switch
Turning the screw clockwise increases the setting and the burner
should not start.
Once this control has been carried out, it is necessary to reset the
factory setting of the minimum oil pressure switch to about 16/18
bar.
Any other pressure values should be adjusted to the burner out-
put.

Final checks (with burner operating)
Open the thermostat/pressure switch TL
Open the thermostat/pressure switch TS
Turn the gas maximum pressure switch knob to the mini-
mum end of scale position
Turn the air pressure switch to the maximum end of scale
position
Check the maximum oil pressure switch
Check the minimum oil pressure switch
Turn off the burner and cut off the power
Disconnect the minimum gas pressure switch connector
Disconnect the QRI cell wire
Make sure that the mechanical locking systems
on the various adjustment devices are fully tight-
ened.
