3.1

Indoor unit

▪ At delivery, the unit MUST be checked for damage. Any damage
MUST be reported immediately to the claims agent of the carrier.
▪ Bring the packed unit as close as possible to its final installation
position to prevent damage during transport.
▪ Unpack the indoor unit completely according to the instructions
mentioned on the unpacking instructions sheet.

Preparing the installation site

4.1.1
Installation site requirements of the
indoor unit
▪ The indoor unit is designed for indoor installation only and for the
following ambient temperatures:
▪ Space heating operation: 5~30°C
▪ Space cooling operation: 5~35°C
▪ Domestic hot water production: 5~35°C
INFORMATION
Cooling is only applicable in case of:
▪ Reversible models
▪ Heating only models + conversion kit (EKHBCONV*)
▪ Mind the measurement guidelines:
Maximum height difference between indoor unit and
outdoor unit
Maximum height difference between domestic hot
water tank and outdoor unit
Maximum water piping length between indoor unit
and domestic hot water tank
Maximum distance between the 3‑way valve and
the indoor unit (for installations with domestic hot
water tank)
