After a certain period of time, depending on the level of
pollutants/impurities present the activated carbon will become
saturated. The time until saturation occurs needs to be
determined, and the filter should then be regularly replaced
whenever this time limit is reached. If the gases that are
supposed to be separated out are noticeably present in the
outlet air stream, change the adsorption filter immediately.
