3. BASIC ITEMS FOR SERVICE

3.1 CHECK POINTS AFTER SERVICING

Items to be checked after servicing
To keep the product quality after servicing, confirm recommended check points shown below.

Check the firmware version.

Confirm that the customer complaint has been resolved.
If the problem pointed out by the customer occurs with a specific
source or operation, such as PC input, AUX/MIC input, Fader, or
VOL, input that specific source then perform that specific
operation for checking.

Check operations of the operating elements.

Enter Service mode.

Check the analog audio output.
Connect this unit with a PC with the DJ application (Serato DJ)
installed, via USB, then play back audio.

Check the analog audio input.
Input an audio signal via AUX/MIC.

Check the appearance of the product.

LEDs, VOL, fader control, and rotary encoder.
There must be no errors, such as noise, in audio signals and
operations of the MASTER/HEADPHONES outputs.
There must be no abnormality in audio signals or operations.
No scratches or dirt on its appearance after receiving it for service.
