LUBRICATION: The motor is equipped with
bearings which contain sufficient lubrication for
their lifetime. The addition of lubricant could
cause damage. Do not add lubricant to motor
bearings.
THERMAL PROTECTION
A thermal protector has been designed into your
cleaner to protect it from overheating. When the
thermal protector activates the cleaner will stop
running. If this happens proceed as follows:
1. Turn cleaner OFF (and unplug from outlet).
2. Empty dirty water tank.
3. Inspect the nozzle for any obstructions.
Clear obstructions if present.
4. When cleaner is de-energized and motor
cools for 30 minutes, the thermal protector
will deactivate and cleaning may continue.
If the thermal protector continues to activate
after following the above steps, your cleaner
needs servicing.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
WARNING

EXPOSURE TO TOXIC MATERIAL.
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
The battery must be collected, recycled or
disposed of in an environmentally sound
manner. The EPA certified RBRC Battery
Recycling Seal on the lithium-ion (Li-ion)
battery indicated Techtronic Industries, a
corporate affiliate of Hoover, Inc., is voluntarily
participating in an industry program to collect
and recycle these batteries at the end of
their useful life, when taken out of service
in the United States or Canada. The RBRC
program provides a convenient alternative to
placing used Li-ion batteries into the trash or
the municipal waste stream, which may be
illegal in your area. Please visit www.rbrc.org/
call2recycle/ for information on Li-ion battery
recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in
your area. Hoover, Inc.,
