What to Do in Case of Trouble

Problem
The power does not
turn on.
The display does not
change to the AC
adapter symbol even
after the AC adapter
is loaded.
The remaining
battery charge is not
displayed correctly.
Cause/Things to Check
Check that the AC adapter
and power cord are
properly connected.
Are you using the supplied
AC adapter (PR-TP001) and
power cord?
Are the batteries installed
in the wrong direction?
Are the batteries low?
Are batteries other than
the specifi ed ones being
used?
Check that the AC adapter
and power cord are
properly connected.
If you load batteries that
are not fully charged, the
remaining battery charge
may not be displayed
correctly.

Solution
After confi rming that the
AC adapter and power cord
are connected, insert the
power plug fi rmly into the
power outlet.
Do not use anything other
than the supplied AC
adapter (PR-TP001) and
power cord. Failure to do
so may result in fi re, electric
shock, or malfunction.
Make sure that all batteries
are installed correctly in the
direction marked on the
inside of the battery case.
Replace the batteries or use
the included AC adapter
(PR-TP001).
Use the specifi ed batteries.

Turn off the power, make
sure the AC adapter and
power cord are connected,
and then insert the power
plug fi rmly into the power
outlet.
Use fully charged batteries.
